Mithral Armor

Uncommon

Mithral is a light, flexible metal. A mithral chain shirt or breastplate can be worn under normal clothes.

If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn’t.

Variants:

Mithral Breastplate

  • Armor Class: 14 + Dex modifier (max of +2)
  • Weight: 20.0 lbs.

Mithral Chain Mail

  • Armor Class: 16
  • Strength: Requires 13 STR.
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 55.0 lbs.

Mithral Chain Shirt

  • Armor Class: 13 + Dex modifier (max of +2)
  • Weight: 20.0 lbs.

Mithral Half Plate Armor

  • Armor Class: 15 + Dex modifier (max of +2)
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 40.0 lbs.

Mithral Plate Armor

  • Armor Class: 18
  • Strength: Requires 15 STR.
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 65.0 lbs.

Mithral Ring Mail

  • Armor Class: 14
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 40.0 lbs.

Mithral Scale Mail

  • Armor Class: 14 + Dex modifier (max of +2)
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 45.0 lbs.

Mithral Splint Armor

  • Armor Class: 17
  • Strength: Requires 15 STR.
  • Stealth: The wearer has disadvantage on Stealth (DEX) checks.
  • Weight: 60.0 lbs.
